About Scrappy Doo

We are looking to re-home our beloved dog. If we had the means to keep him, we would, but our current circumstances won't allow it. Scrappy Doo is an incredibly intelligent, energetic, and goofy companion. He loves to chew ice, bask in the sun, and chase after toys. He would do best in an adult-only home without other pets as the unpredictability of children makes him uncomfortable and other animals can cause him to be anxious. He comes from a home with a remote worker, so he is used to being accompanied at home during the day. It would be wonderful if his next home had the means to do the same, but if that is not possible he does get left alone for several hours at a time on occasion and does well. We are sure he would learn to adapt with the right approach. He is potty trained and knows several commands. He has been going to special dog trainings for close to a year and his intelligence shines through given how rapidly he learns and grows. Ideally we would love to bring him into a home of people that have experience with dog training, or at least the dedication to continue taking him to regular classes to work with him and learn about his boundaries/needs. We would provide any and all of his current personal belongings that would help both him and his new owner adjust to his fresh start (kennel, harness, leash, treats, food, toys, etc.).
