About Sapphire

Sapphire! Sapphire is the last of our adorable small dogs rescued from a hoarding house. He has been under vet care for his eye, but it is improving and we are hopeful it can be saved! The good thing is if that happens to change one eyed dogs are pretty darn cute. Sapphire is estimated to be about 3 years old and some sort of dachshung/rat terrier type mix. He is sweet and playful and really starting to come out of his shell and show his personality. Sapphire has been working on his crate training. Given his sheltered past he will need work on basic training, including housebreaking and leash walking. The good thing is he really does want to be a good boy and please his people. Sapphire is good with other dogs and has also lived with cats and birds, but we can cat test him for any approved adopters with cats, just to be sure. Sapphire's adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccinations to date and microchipping. He will also be heartworm tested and is up to date on preventatives. Interested?
