Hi, my name is Ryder, and I am around 2 years old and weigh about 42 pounds. I have not been here at the shelter for long, but I did come in with my friend Dax. We were scared when we first arrived but now the girls say we are sweet. We run and play well together. A leash go for walks. I am still somewhat bashful and n the leash is scary but I do come around once I get to know you. I am good with other dogs too. I was tested for Heartworm and Lyme and got my Rabies vaccine. Results are not in yet but I'm sure they will be posted soon. I would love for you to come meet me and my friend Dax. I'm always good for daily smiles, playtime, and a whole lot of tail-wagging fun. Results are negative for HW and Lyme. Thank you for looking at dogs from the Guernsey County Dog Warden Dept. We are a county run facility in Cambridge, OH, we are NOT a no kill shelter! Unfortunately, we must euthanize due to illness or aggression. Adoption fees are $125 for Guernsey County adopters and $160 for dogs adopted out of Guernsey County and Cell Dogs are $175. Adoption fees do not include the $8 dog license. This includes spay/neuter, first shots, rabies, heartworm/Lyme testing and microchip! Most dogs will be required to be spayed/ neutered before leaving shelter or an appointment will be scheduled before leaving the shelter. Please talk to shelter staff for more information. We only accept cash. We cannot take checks, debit or credit cards. You may also call the shelter between the hours of 9-5 Mon through Fri and 9-4 on Saturday, for more information and our fax number if you would like us to fax you an application. You can also visit the shelter between the hours of 11-4 Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. If coming from out of town, please call first to make sure the dog you are interested in is still available. Approved rescues also welcome!!!!
