Unbelievably gorgeous, solid black, purebred Siberian Husky needs an experienced home with lots of time and space. Selene came to me from a hoarder/rescue situation. She has come a very long way with her socialization but is still unsure with strangers, particularly adult men. Unsure about temprement with children. She was afraid of being outdoors for a very long time but now loves going on walks and being in nature. She is not fully potty trained as her being afraid of the outdoors was a challenge. Under supervision, she will not potty in the house and does know how to use puppy pads. It's when she is unsupervised and away from watchful eyes that she misbehaves. Selene is not spayed currently as she went into heat right before her appointment and we have not yet rescheduled it. However, she is up to date with her vaccines. Her vet has not detected any health issues. Although she is nearing 1 year old, she is very much a puppy. Selene is very submissive to other dogs and a nervous licker. Selene will need someone with extensive husky/rescue dog experience, who will continue to work with her and help her become a great canine citizen! I am rehoming her because of a medical situation in which I am gone more than half the day and I absolutely cannot give this girl the time she needs.
