SEMINOLE is playful, well behaved, affectionate and friendly!He loves his person and is a happy boy. He is not happy spending a lot of time away from his person. At first he had a little separation anxiety but the longer he's been in rescue the better he has gotten and he's ok as long as he has a dog at home with him. Seminole gets along with everyone in his foster home, even the cat. He has been kid tested and is good with kids who know how to behave around dogs. Seminole really likes playing with the other pups in his foster home and gets lots of exercise from another playful dog. It would be great for him to have a buddy that was about his size, temperament and energy level. Seminole has good energy and loves to play all day. He loves toys, and all the special attention and belly rubs he can get. He's also a fan of playing tug and fetch and he loves food! Seminole seems to be pretty much housetrained, is ok at walking on a leash and likes exploring. He likes going on car rides and jumps right in when it's time to take a trip. At night, he likes to sleep in the big bed under the covers. When he came in we were told that he sometimes has seizures and we have been tracking them to see what their causes are and how often he has them. We aren't sure of the cause, but he has only had four in all the months we've had him. They are very mild and he recovers quickly. He does not need any medication for them at this time. Seminole has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, neutered, fecal tested, heartworm negative, has had a ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. He recently had a dental and had two bad teeth removed. He is a beautiful, happy sweet boy who deserves a loving home! *We are located in Pensacola Florida. Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral issues are only adoptable within a 1 hour drive to Pensacola. Most others we will consider within a 5-hour drive. We do not ship or transport our dogs. *We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a facility. Our dogs live in private homes in and around the Pensacola area until they are adopted.
