About Sophie

Hi there Griffon Lovers! We were contacted to help place an 8 yo purebred female Griff, who is living in Idaho, in a group-Griff home! The blond on her head in this photo, is reflected sunlight, not her coloration (which is the usual liver). Her Dad wants her to live out her retirement years being spoiled, part of the household and family unit. He writes me: 'Sophie was born 8-7-2015. She is the only dog I don't hunt, not her fault. I had 3 hip replacement's when she was a pup. She has a typical Griff temperament. She is a little independent and needs adult supervision or she will wander off and go hunting. She's not a big fan of long car rides I attribute that to a couple trips to Montana when she was a pup. She gets in fine just gets a little stressed. So, Dad will place her only locally, within reasonable driving range. Does fine with other dogs, not reactive to the cat on the property, good with kids and 'other' humans!.' Sounds like a well adjusted Girl. Will need to be spayed prior to placement; Dad is arranging that now. We request a phone interview to answer questions, an application, and home visit.
