Amelia is super sweet and very friendly. Her babies have been adopted. Currently Amelia is in a home with a very active dog and 2 laid back cats and 2 kittens. She loves the kittens. Amelia has a sad story. She showed up at someone's house very pregnant unbeknownst to them. They didn't feed her because they wanted her to go away. Then all of a sudden, she had 2 babies, Rose & Tang. She slept on the sidewalk for a couple of days, then it started to rain. The people brought her and the babies up to the porch and let her sleep there. They posted on Facebook for help. Unfortunately, this was about 5-6 hours away from our rescue. We did see the post, along with others on our team and with several drivers and much coordination, we had Amelia and her day old babies brought up to the rescue and into a warm, safe, foster home. Amelia will be forever grateful to the people who helped her get into a safe home to help with her and the babies. We tell folks all the time, It takes a village! And it certainly took a village for this little family to be safe. Amelia's babies have been adopted and will leave on next transport; we would love for this young momma to be able to have a forever home too. Please consider adopting this grateful kitty. Amelia is a young momma around 1 year old. All pets are microchipped, and the fee is pre-paid for a lifetime.
