About Huggie Bear

Adoption Fee: unknown
Lab
Age: Senior
Sex: Female

Huggie Bear has recently been surrendered to the Pope Memorial SPCA in Concord, NH hopefully to be adopted out from that location. Chocolate female Labrador Retriever retired from kennel. We also have her black sister / littermate available to adopt. Huggie Bear is a very affectionate dog. She spent her first two years with the owner of her mother. We obtained her when she started chasing their chickens. She has just a few litters of pups and was retired. We have been unable to find her a retirement home which we try to provide for any of our retirees. We feel she deserves to go back into a home life that would provide her the love and attention she deserves. Our breeding operations do not allow us to give us the amount of time to spend the time and attention she deserves. Our dogs usually live to an average of 13-16 years of age so she should still have a number of years to provide love and companionship to her potential new owners. She is currently living in an outdoor area however she has lived in an indoor situation with a family of 5 with 3 young children and should have no issues with converting back to that situation. Let me know if I can provide additional information. Contact or visit the Concord, NH SPCA directly if you would like to visit and meet this wonderful animal.
