Ziggy is a mini Labradoodle, who weighs in at about 21lbs , He was purchased from a breeder by his previous family, who surrendered him to our rescue, due to bite history. His previous parents tried to hire trainers and put him on meds, but it truly came down to them being scared of him. Ziggy was the boss and ruled the house. He was an only dog and took on the role as head of household and protector of his mom, and wasn`t corrected. He was insecure, too and when he first joined our pack , he was insecure around my pack , too . Fast forward several months and Ziggy is now a happy, very agil , very energetic AND vocal dog .One sound, and he will storm out of the door . He loves to play with the other dogs and I truly believe , that is what he needs. He has to have another very active dog . I believe he`d also be perfect for agility, This boy will leap off my porch , jump up 4 feet from a stand still . There hasn`t been any hint of trying to lash out, and he is not acting like my protector anymore. The first month he stayed at my feet and didn`t want other dogs near, now he lays all over the house , nowhere near me . His best friend is a 65lb dog and these 2 play a lot. The groomer said he is super easy to groom and no problem at all. He goes in his crate and he is 100% potty trained . He met cats and politely sniffed them . I don`t want him to go to a home with small kids , since he is mouthy when playful, and remember, VERY vocal. He will have a conversation with you, when excited/happy. He really is a good boy, who was forced into a situation, he was not comfortable with. He is located in Florence, TX an he will not be transported to a potential adopter, you`ll have to meet him in person
