About Farley

Farley, 24' tall, 27.5lbs, 7.5 years Hi, I'm Farley. Some say I'm chubby, I say I'm just easy to see. I'm named after the original funny man, Chris Farley. But I also go by Farles Barkley, Mr. Farles and Tubby. I've got a funny personality just like Chris too. I've been known to put on a small jacket and twirl around singing fat guy in a little coat. I'm a very handsome brindle boy who wants nothing more than to be given some loves and snuggle up to my person. I get along well with other dogs, I have my geriatric foster brother Skip to hang out with me everyday. I do like to play with younger pups too. I like to bark and chase my cat neighbor, Nutmeg, so I probably wouldn't do well with living with my cat friends. When I came to my foster mom, I was in the heavyweight class weighing in at 32.5 pounds! I've been able to drop FIVE pounds by working on my fitness, eating diet food and snacking on veggies. My favorite is cucumbers! I'm coming around on the idea of eating fruits and veggies! I also have back leg mobility issues that are most likely amplified by my weight. While the extra weight isn't helping, the issue is not curable and I'll need on-going treatment such as laser therapy. I sometimes have accidents inside because of my spinal issues so I'll need someone who is patient with me. I would do best in a home where I have some older pup friends to hang with and my person who will love on me and snuggle with me and will take me on walks! Farley's adoption fee is $250. He is located in Salt Lake Cuty, UT. Prospective adopters must be willing to travel there if approved and selected to adopt him. We are looking for a home without children or with children 12+ that can be gentle and respectful with handling and care.
