About HALLIE and BUDDY

A beautiful pair of bonded male schnauzers is searching for the perfect home together. Hallie (in blue harness) and Buddy (orange harness) are salt and pepper boys, 20 and 18 pounds respectively, with natural ears and docked tails. At 6 years old, they are neutered, fully vaccinated, and have just had dental cleanings. These dear boys spent the last five years in a loving home and were reluctantly surrendered to rescue because of the owner's severe health issues. Before their adoption by that family, they wandered the streets, with only one another to rely on. As a result, they're a little shy with new people and situations, but their true, affectionate natures soon emerge. Both are calm and good-natured, but they have distinctive personalities. Buddy is open and people oriented, while Hallie is more independent and can seem standoffish, but at heart he's just as loyal and loving as his brother. Hallie especially shines when he's found a human to call his own. They love daily walks and are equally fond of relaxing at home. House trained and crate trained, they're working on leash manners. They get along with both male and female canines in their foster home. They'd love having an owner at home most of the time and do need a securely fenced yard.
