About Walter

Walter came into the shelter as an injured stray on 3/29/23. We think he was probably hit by a car. He had abrasions and his right rear leg wouldn't bear weight. Thankfully with some extra TLC from our medical team Walter has healed nicely and is now able to run and play without issue on all four legs. There's no signs of his old injury to the common eye. He loves to let loose in our play yards. He's got a goofy and playful side a mile wide, but he's also curious and likes to smell everything. He has an average energy level, but a short attention span. He loves treats and takes them gently from your hand, but he doesn't seem to know any tricks yet. He is always happy, and usually has a big grin on his face with his tail wagging. He's very photogenic! Walter is a 3YO Lab mix who came into the shelter as a stray on 3/29/23. He weighs 52 lbs.
