About Spot

Big, happy guy looking for a home! Spot is a 6 year old, 80 lb, lab/pit mix, happy fur ball, and he would love to be the apple of someone's eye. His owner passed away earlier this year, and this awesome buddy has been waiting since July for a new family & home! He needs a minute to warm up, guarding the shelter is hard work, but lucky for us he loves to meet new people once he gets out of his kennel. He loves to wrestle and rough house, chew squeaky toys or bones, take a walk, and soak up lovins with lots of 'good boy' affirmations mixed in with the pets and the scratchin'. Spot likes some dog friends but not others. His rough and tumbly grandpa bark can be misleading sometimes, we think he wants to play more than he lets on. Let's do a meet and greet if you have a pup already. He seems to be better with dogs that have lower energy rather than high energy. Adoption fees include spay/nueter, microchip, and up to date on vaccines.
