Gideon went from a terrified puppy that was afraid of everything around him to one of the most loving puppies ever!. When he first came into foster, he wouldn't willingly go to a person, but loved dogs. Gideon has since learned to trust humans, still loves dogs, loves kids, and is ok with cats. He will follow you around the house to be by your side - once he's comfortable with you, you'll have a best friend! He loves to snuggle on the couch or run around the yard, he's a well rounded puppy. He absolutely loves toys of all kinds! But beware, if they have stuffing, he will get the stuffing out and play with it. It's adorable to watch him carry fluff around and be a goofy puppy. For a puppy that was dumped in the woods around 6 months old with his 6 siblings, that's a huge accomplishment. He's about 90% house trained, which is awesome since he had never been in a house before coming to his foster home. Gideon hasn't been around kids under 10, but shouldn't have a problem with younger kids. We always recommend setting boundaries with kids and animals as well as supervision. He's still a puppy, and his fosters have been working with him being a mouthy player (normal for puppies), he still uses his mouth, but stops with correction. Fosters are willing to meet within a reasonable distance from Glynn County, Ga.
