About Luna

UPDATE: Luna is back and up for adoption. Everything with her new family worked out great except for the cat. She was listed as Chihuahua mix, she definitely has to have Dachshund in her. She loves squeaky toys. Loves to go on walks but you need to hang on if she sees a squirrel. She wants to chase them. A fenced in yard would be great for her. She will be your shadow. She loves to snuggle and give kisses. She does like to be the only one on your lap, loves her attention. She is also shy around some men but will come around with patience and treats. Overall, she will make someone an excellent companion. She is about 3 years old (6/30/20 DOB) and weighs in at 15 lbs. She is a Chihuahua mix (with what we don't know). She is a sweet girl once you give her a chance to know you. She is a little shy and a little scared with all the noise here at the shelter and will require some patience. We DO NOT recommend her in a home with small children - she is way too nervous for that.. We believe she is fully housebroken but will require some reinforcement when she goes to her new home. Her adoption fee will be $200.00. That will include spay, heartworm negative tested, current shots, worming, current on preventatives and micro-chipped.
