About Blitz

Meet Blitz! Blitz is a 4-year-old, 55 pound working dog. He's smart, food driven, and loves playing fetch. He sleeps through the night in his crate, is house trained, loves learning new tricks, and can be good with other dogs if they allow him to calmly greet them. Blitz would do best in an adult only home, with an active owner. He loves going on walks, runs, hikes and car rides. Because he can be untrusting of new people, Blitz will need someone to continue to work with him on desensitizing his stranger danger response. Blitz is muzzle trained, and will walk in a heel when requested. Blitz is a quick learner, super food motivated, and will LOVE his owners fiercely. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
