ADOPTED! Yuki in Japanese can mean snow, happiness, or snow flower - which really are all the same thing, right?! He is a sweet, quiet boy that has not barked and only slightly whined while riding in a vehicle to his foster home. He immediately jumped into the lap of his foster mom while she drove, Yuki is unaware that he is a big boy. He must gain your trust but once you have it he is an exceptionally good boy. Because he thinks is a small dog he sometimes will jump on you, but he seems to understand when you let him know it isn't okay. He will lick your face if you let him. He likes belly rubs and will put his paw on you for reassurance. A little time with a trainer, and he'll be the near perfect dog! Yuki will crouch down for pets and snacks. He has one ear always ready to listen to your stories and the other is ensuring there are no predators nearby. He looks to be a year or older. He will sit. If he gets excited, he makes a noise, but it is so quick you can miss it. Please see Forms page to download an adoption interest application, or email us with any questions you may have about our boy! He's neutered (2/22/23) and has all of his shots. Email: [email protected]. Transport fees are separate from adoption fee for long distance adoptions. He is being fostered in Gallup, NM. Please, serious inquiries only! We can send more pics and video if you're interested in Yuki!
