Rescued from the cruel New York City kill pound which sentenced him to death for no reason other than convenience, APOLLO is a 4-yr-old Pitbull mix who is 'friendly, outgoing, affectionate & gently playful with adults & older children,' and 'loves to play with his toys & go for walks,' wrote a kill pound volunteer who favored him. APOLLO would do well with adults and older kids but is mistrustful of other dogs and tends to overreact to cats. APOLLO would love to live with a family that has a fenced yard to run and play in, but it's not a requirement because he would also love to cuddle with you on the couch just as much. APOLLO, who has no bite history, is a gentle, intelligent and mild-mannered boy who will thrive with a little bit of love and a regular routine.
