About Unnamed

Treeing Walker Coonhound
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

My friend refers to her as Sally Sue, but she is unnamed. Classy well-bred dog that is very coon driven. Came to my house(dumped)Tuesday after Memorial Day. Well-behaved. She is on a tie-out during the day and loose in a stock trailer at night. I walk her twice a day for potty business and exercise. She has never messed in her domain. She waits politely at the trailer door each morning for me to hook up her leash. When it's cooler, she exhibits signs of playfulness. It has taken a while, but she has started making eye contact with me and comes up to me occasionally to be petted. She gets along fine with my female miniature Aussie. She does not try to kill cats. If they don't run from her, she sniffs them, wags her tail, and moves on. Once when her swivel wore out on her tie out and she got loose, she 'treed' a cat underneath a vehicle. She bayed continuously in its face and was very annoying, but did not try to hurt it. She is terrified of cattle and looks curiously at goats. I haven't allowed her close contact with them. I don't have chickens, so I don't know her reaction to those. She may have been hunted with, as she is very good at her craft, whether from training or natural instinct. She yearns to get in the back of our truck. I've had her long enough now to know she is not going to have puppies. She does not eat much, at least during this summer weather. She needs someone who can appreciate her talents and give her the time she deserves. Please contact me to learn more information.
