About Missy

Meet the mesmerizing Miss Missy! This girl's origin story starts out a little rougher than most. She was found on the side of the road after being hit by a car. Luckily a Good Samaritan found her and brought her to a veterinary clinic that was able to provide her with the help she needed. To look at her now you'd never know she was injured�'�|the only noticable thing is that she's missing a portion of her tail that had to be amputated. Missy has been totally medically cleared�'�|but she still doesn't have a home to go to. So she came to the shelter to look for one. She's got a gorgeous, happy smile that's almost permanently on her face. She's very sweet and friendly and loves getting attention from people. If you pet her you're pretty likely to get a kiss or two in return! She walks well on a leash and has an average energy level. She loves treats, but doesn't seem to know any tricks yet. Missy is a 3YO Staffordshire who came into the shelter on 5/17/23. She weighs 71 lbs.
