His owner tells us that he is experiencing a bit of swelling and irritation in his left eye, but he has a follow up at his vet soon to check on it. His owner tells us, 'Cairo has some vision, but I can tell it's not at 100%. I'm hoping for a more definite answer once he's seen by his doctor, but he does follow me and other objects as we move around. He also dodges things coming his way so I'm sure he has some vision left.' Cairo is not current with vaccinations. He is not neutered or microchipped. Other than what is mentioned above, Cairo's owner tells us that he is a healthy dog. Dog Info: Cairo's owner got him as a puppy when his litter was going to be taken to a shelter. Due to changing work, school, housing, and living circumstances, she is no longer able to care for Cairo. Cairo is an outdoor dog with a fenced yard. He's not housebroken or leash trained. However, he has learned cues for Sit, Stay, Down, and High-Five (Paw)! Cairo is an outgoing pup who is good with men, women, and teenagers. He's also known to be good with male dogs. He currently lives with a Chihuahua. Cairo has not been around cats or children. Cairo is not aggressive and has no bite history. He has not shown any possessiveness with treats, toys, or food. He adapts well and quickly to new situations and surroundings, having moved to three different houses with his owner while visually impaired.
