About Ripley

Meet Ripley, a super handsome one-year-old, 61 lb. mountain cur mix with the most stunning brindle coat, gorgeous golden eyes, and a giant head. After his previous owner had a stroke, he and his brother were surrendered to a high-kill shelter in South Carolina. He used to be an outdoor dog so he's enjoying the good life now that he's in a loving foster home. Ripley is a sweet and goofy gentle giant who wants nothing more than to be your BFF! He is so friendly with everyone he meets and will always greet you with a wagging tail and a big smile. Ripley is a fun lovin' guy who likes to run in the yard, play with his toys, or go on an adventure. When he's done having fun, he'll happily take a nap on the couch next to you. Ripley is the perfect mix of energetic and calm. He's currently in foster with a dog and cat and is respectful of both his furry friends. He has also done well meeting kids at our events. He has displayed separation anxiety so he must go to a home where someone is there often - he will be your shadow and follow you wherever you go. Ripley is good on a leash but can become a little excited at new places. He MUST go to a home with a fenced yard and another pup. His adoption fee is $400 and Ripley is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and heartworm negative.
