If your pasture puff needs a buddy, we have got the ultimate dude for you! Anjo has been loved and well- cared for by his current owner for most of his life. His owner's only desire was to give him the best life possible, just being a horse. With no expectations, Anjo has lived in a herd environment, with proper handling and lovely ground manners. All horses should be this lucky! However, financial hardships have now placed his owner in the all-too-common predicament of needing to find him a home where he can just be a horse. He has never been under saddle, but gets along with all horses, and is great for the vet and farrier. He is a bit spoiled, so an experienced person would be best suited for him. He does have some separation anxiety and will crib if stalled, so a large pasture with a shelter would be ideal for him. He is completely sound, however he developed cushings two years ago, and will need to be on medication, though ideally, he could transition to more suitable diet and herbal remedy for his condition. Super smart and very sweet, this gorgeous guy would make a superb companion for another horse who is lonely and needs a loving buddy. He has many great years ahead of him, and he personable, cuddly and loves to play. For the right person willing to take the time to develop a close relationship with him, riding is a possible activity if Anjo chooses to do that with you.
