About Gunner

Beautiful 1-2 year old Border/Husky Gunner was 35 minutes away from euthanasia when he was rescued. He was at the shelter through no fault of his own, and his negligent owners nearly cost him his life. This sweet boy was a staff favorite there, and he's a foster favorite now. He has a very happy, puppy like personality. He knows sit, and takes treats gently. He loves to go for walks and explore, and he's fantastic on the leash. He has a gorgeous silky coat, and he loves to be brushed. He's currently 45 pounds. He likes to play with toys, and he's good with other dogs. Because he was tied up outside most of his life, and after spending time at the shelter, he has some anxiety. Gunner needs someone that's home quite a bit until he can learn how to be alone. He's making progress with crate training, and doing well with potty training. He's a stunning boy, and a sweetheart. Gunner can't wait to meet you!
