About Jessie

Jessie is a 3 year old, 65 pound hound mix. She knows how to sit, lay down, and shake. Jessie loves to play. Her favorite game is chase. She will run with a toy in her mouth and likes when other dogs will chase her. Jessie is also happy to be the chaser. She will tree a squirrel or chase a rabbit. Jessie is food motivated and sits nicely to get treats with other dogs. She gets excited when her fosters get home from work or meeting new people and will jump up on them and bark in excitement. We have not been successful in teaching her to stay off. A squirt bottle with water and a little vinegar reminds her not to jump. All we have to do is pick up the bottle. Jessie does well with other dogs but will chase cats, squirrels, and rabbits relentlessly. She loves to play with toys and does zoomies with her dog buddies at her foster home. Jessie likes to go for walks but does pull on the leash when she is excited. She is willing to go with anywhere you want to take her. She jumps in the car and rides well. Her velvety soft ears are the best for rubbing and Jessie is willing to cuddle and give kisses to her humans. At night Jessie will sleep in a dog bed or with her humans. She loves to be told she is a good girl. Jessie requires a home with a physically fenced yard where she can run and play safely. Jessie is house trained, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested and microchipped.
