About Nishi

Hi, I'm Nishi, a handsome black, 60-pound, pit bull/labrador mix. I am a one-year-old pup who weighs 60 pounds. I have playful energy and a big heart to match. I'm looking for my forever home with someone who can take me on adventures and cuddle me at the end of the day. I do well with other dogs and may benefit best with a higher energy play buddy. I would also do great with a very active human buddy that can take me on walks, runs, hikes, etc. A home with older, teenage children is preferred as I can be a bit rambunctious. I wouldn't want to knock down any small kiddos. Young and full of great energy, it is recommended that I go to someone with consistent and firm structure for me. I have not been cat tested but I can be if you'd like. I'm also smart and eager to learn new things. I know how to sit, stay, and come, and I'm working on other commands too. I'm potty trained and leash trained, so I'm ready to go wherever you want to take me. While I ride well in the car while in a crate, I am terrified of crates in the home. I'm neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative, so I'm healthy and happy. I get the zoomies at times and will hop low (3.5 feet) fences to see my people when I get excited. I will either need a tall fence in my home. Or to be an apartment dog with an active family that will take me on walks, hikes and other adventures to get my energy out. I would be great in a home with someone who is an everyday jogger. I am being fostered in Colonial Heights, VA but I can be transported out of state for the right home.
