He has come a long ways from his early days as a starving and terrified pup, when he only had his siblings for comfort. He now walks on a leash, and enjoys car rides. Mai Tai is also house trained and crate trained! He needs a doggy friend the same size or smaller than him, to be his best buddy and show him the ropes. He should not be placed with very young children. Cats are unknown, but likely fine with slow introductions. A securely fenced yard is a must. He is understandably timid at first, but with love and patience he will come around. He may be a flight risk at first, so he would be best with an experienced dog owner. Due to the upheaval in his life, he does take a small, inexpensive dose of Prozac every day for anxiety, but could likely be weaned off of it after living in a new home for a few months. Mai Tai would so love a forever home! Won't you give this sweet pup a chance? He is presently being fostered in the Greer, SC area. We require a home check and vet references.
