About Fennec

Fennec is a gorgeous ~2 year old bully mix that was rescued from the fires in Estill County, Kentucky. He is no stranger to the shelter and weighs around 35-40 lbs.��%BD He has super soft fur and the cutest polka dots. And have you seen those ears?! Fennec is a very sweet boy. He is such a fast learner and knows how to sit and lay down. Are you looking for a dog that can entertain himself without pestering others? Fennec is your man! Fennec likes to play, chew on bones, chew on pillows (hah!) and snuggle on the couch. He also loves mouthing peoples��%BD hands and requires re-direction to stop, although we are still learning why Fennec does this. He loves being the King and having his own chair. Fennec is gentle, sweet and is a cuddle bug. He has done well with large dogs and small dogs as well without any food aggression with slow, proper introductions. Dogs in his foster home correct him when he is getting to be too much, and he takes the correction very well. He could work on reading the cat��%BDs cues, though. Fennec is a great balance of energy and chill once he is comfortable in his environment. Beware though, he will jump the dog gates around the house if they are not super tall and he is working on crate training.
