About Willow

Willow is a beautiful spaniel mix girl of about 9 months of age of about 18 pounds. She came up to us on a Dog is My Copilot flight from Texas. She has the most beautiful coat and this very elegant fox like face on her! She is a bit shy but that is to be expected for some dogs as the upheaval in their life and then stress from a flight can be a bit much for some. She will cuddle up once in your arms and feels that safety that your arms are providing. She will blossom once in a home and knows she no longer has to worry about being without a home ever again. She has taken to leash walks well, although is skittish around other dogs and will try to hide from them. This is likely due to some trauma in her prior life. We hope that once her confidence returns, she will get better with other dogs over time. She is probably best going into a home without another dog at this time. A cat will likely be ok however we still need to test her with our resident cat to be sure. Willow is up to date on vaccinations, has a micro-chip and has been spayed.
