Picture this: a 4-5-year-old, sweet and gentle Terrier mix with the cutest smiling face you've ever laid eyes on. Yep, that's me, Gwen! At 45-50 pounds, I'm the perfect size to snuggle up with you on lazy afternoons and accompany you on exciting adventures. Let me start by telling you about my personality. I'm a sweet and gentle soul with a heart as big as my grin. Speaking of grins, I must admit that my smiling face has been known to melt hearts and brighten even the gloomiest of days. Now, let's talk about my social skills. I'm a master at making canine friends! But my love for people knows no bounds as well. You'll never feel alone or without a smile with me by your side. Despite my zest for life, I'm also a gentle soul who knows when it's time to relax and unwind. I'm happy to snuggle up beside you on the couch, basking in the warmth of your love and affection. We can binge-watch our favorite shows or simply enjoy some quiet time together. Just being near you is enough to make me happy! I'm yearning for a forever or foster home, where I can share my zest for life and bask in the love and care that you have to offer. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources.
