About Nova

My name is Nova, and I'm a Hound/Boxer mix ready to brighten up your life with my wagging tail and contagious joy. At 4-5 years old, I'm the perfect balance of playfulness and maturity, ready to embark on new adventures with you. I'm a stunning mixed breed, and I'm on a quest to find my forever home or a loving foster family. I am great with other dogs. I truly have the best time running around and playing with them. Whether it's a game of fetch, an exciting hike, or simply rolling around in the grass, count me in! My tail can't help but wag with pure joy when I'm surrounded by my canine buddies. You'll often find me with a wagging tail and a smile on my face! I'm a true optimist, always seeing the bright side of life and bringing smiles to those around me. Happiness is contagious, and I'll make it my mission to spread joy wherever I go. Not only am I a bundle of joy, but I'm also a smart cookie. I'm a quick learner and already know the command 'sit.' But don't let that limit us-I'm eager to learn even more! With your guidance, I'm ready to master lots of commands. Despite my previous circumstances, I'm a happy girl through and through. My resilient spirit shines bright, and I'm always ready to embrace life with open paws. But here's the thing: I'm longing for a loving home to call my own. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources.
