About IVY

Ivy is such a sweet girl and loyal and protective. While she does well with kids (we have 3 and adults) She doesn't like everyone and protects her home and people well. She is food aggressive (we feed her away from our other dog) She has been socialized at doggie daycare, though it took her time to warm up and be comfortable there she thrives there now. She is timid and fearful - that's when she can get aggressive. She has bitten before. Usually when trying to protect us. This is why we can't keep her. She's unpredictable. She's so smart and loving. This is by far the hardest choice we've had to make. If you are looking for a great guard dog this is it. We have done some training with her, she walks on a leash well. She always wants to be the dominate one. She's potty trained and create trained. It will take time for her to warm up to new people and she's get's super timid at the vet and daycare until she's comfortable. Happy to discuss what happened when she bit others.
