Milo is a fun loving and exceptionally cuddly friend. He is a 55lb Treeing Walker Coonhound mix (and fits the breed description to a T). His doggy daycare describes him as 'the life of the party.' He would thrive in an environment with a fenced in yard and another dog that he can play with. Puppy play dates are the best way to get him exercised. As a young coonhound, he has a lot of energy and does need at least an hour long daily walk, but it's worth it when he's snuggled up next to you afterwards. He does have a coonhound bark, which typically means he needs something. He does not have separation anxiety and can be left home alone with no worries that he'll get into the trash or tear up the furniture. Semi-crate trained and 100% house broken. The best part about Milo is his emotional intelligence. He can play with dogs of all sizes because he knows to hold back if they're smaller than him. Described as 'the most popular dog at the dogpark.' He is semi-tranied, and knows his basic obedience skills. However, he will need regular reminders of proper leash behavior and greeting manners. He definitely has been responding best to positive reinforcement training over other methods. A truly wonderful dog looking for a forever home.
