This girl is 70 pounds of ball chaser LOL. She knows the sit, shake, down, and stay commands but isn't good about personal space; we honestly think she believes she is only 10 pounds and a lap dog. Being 13 hasn't slowed her down much and she still likes walking and playing with her toys. She will need an active household but one that understands she is aging. Don't let that adorable face fool you; she can get up to mischief; she steals food off counters and out of your hand if you let her. She is good in the car if she has a seatbelt and walks well on a leash. She has lived with cats and dogs but she likes to be the dominant one and can be too pushy and bossy so homes where she will be an only child are ideal. She chases away squirrels and birds from the yard. She barks at strangers at the door (and every time you come in the door) but she warms up quickly once she gets attention. She howls when she is lonely. She would do well in a house with someone who has experience with abused pets - she doesn't like loud noises so no children under 10. She can be slow to warm up to men but her foster home has a bearded husband and they have become best friends. And we should mention that our vet says she is very healthy other than she is overweight; a diet will be a must! If you are looking for a dog that will love you to the moon and back and you can deal with living with a diva Kylo is your girl!
