About Border Collie/Lab gal

Dixie is a super sweet 10 month old black lab aussie mix who weighs 70-75 pounds She is house and crate trained She has good manners inside her foster home and when in the backyard. Not a barker except to say hello. She sleeps in her crate at night. Big or small, male or female, all doggies are her friends. Cat compatibility is unknown Due to her high energy, she would do best in a home with kids 10 years and older. She walks fine on a leash but continued training for this young gal and her new owner would set everyone up for success. And access all her smarts. Dixie would make an excellent running and/or hiking partner. She rides well in a car. Commands she knows are sit, come, stay. Her favorites are to be outside and to play play play. No surprise she also loves water. Best type of home for Dixie is an active family who will take her on adventures. She's very social and happy and brings a great energy wherever she goes. She doesn't need anothet dog in her home but play dates with doggie friends would keep her happy. When you are smart, happy and full of life and love like Dixie, you want to get out and about and explore your world. Spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, including rabies, heartworm negative and current on prevention. In addition to her adoption fee, Dixie can be transported to CO, WA or OR for an additional fee.
