About Benny & Lola

This little girl came in with Benny and seems to LOVE being around dogs as much as she likes being around humans. (Which is a lot!) Lola is a gentle, playful lady who is house and crate trained- though she'd rather curl up next to you! Estimated to be about 2 years old she's a lovely houseguest- only occasionally complaining when physically separated from the humans. For the songs she sings if you're on the other side of a door, she's surprisingly respectful of your personal space. She'll come in for snugs and belly rubs, and is otherwise happy just supervising quietly you from her blanket or lying near your feet. Lola walks nicely on a leash, is great with kids (babies through big!), takes treats with only her lips, is learning basic commands and really lights up around other dogs. When we first met her, she was a little shy, but Benny gave her confidence. She'd love to stay with him but would also be very happy in a home with another dog to pal around with. Benny and Lola (right in pics) This duo is the epitome of dynamic. Benny is a big handsome boy with the softest, squishiest head who wants to be wherever you are. He follows foster Ma and lies at her side or feet, snoozing or quietly watching her work or cook. He's so gentle, taking treats, greeting toddlers, and as he 'sneaks' his way across the couch to your lap. Benny likes to yell at other dogs when he's on a leash, and his foster parents are helping him learn that's not polite- he's happy to oblige for treats and learning quickly. Lola is a quiet, sweet, and little girl. She enjoys the company of her humans but is comfortable in her bed, softly snoring as foster Ma moves about. She regularly snuggles up to Benny and loves scratches from her people. Lola loves treats and has the most gentle little mouth. Lola is curious and quiet and really comes out of her shell with Benny nearby. This bonded pair spends a lot of time snuggling and absolutely come alive at play time, a whirlwind of tails and paws, they tangle and wrestle and make noise and love each other's company. They communicate well and stay in sync- with voices escalating but always being considerate of the other. Benny and Lola are lovely house guests and love having a yard! They laze in the sun, watch the neighborhood go by and zoom around. Both dogs know basic commands, respond well to training, are house-trained and respect your stuff (no chewing or tearing). They absolutely adore their foster Ma but are ready to be done couch surfing, would love to have a forever home, and promise you laughs and love every day.
