About Zora

Sweet Zora's story doesn't have the happiest beginning. She was abandoned with her two other siblings at the shelter. The two, more outgoing siblings were quickly adopted, leaving Zora alone, scared, and heartbroken. She was left that way for months, slowly deteriorating and retreating further into herself. It got to the point where volunteers couldn't even walk her; she refused to leave the cage, desperately waiting for her family to return. She was on death's door for simply being in the shelter too long. Then, Zora and all who loved her thought she'd gotten a second chance at a loving home - she was adopted! Unfortunately, the family was unwilling to work with the anxiety and fears that the dear pup had developed after her traumatic experiences. She was returned to an already overcrowded shelter and scheduled to be euthanized later that day. But SSR wouldn't let her story end there and rescued her at the last minute. Zora's safe in a loving foster home now, but she needs and deserves a loving forever home. Can you help this darling heal, and show her that not all humans will let her down?
