Cal came to us last year as his owners were going through big changes and were unable to give him time & companionship he needed. He's lower energy for a pointer but still needs 45+ mins of activity a day. He's got a few bad habits we've worked on and fixed a majority of. Peeing when excited/anxious still happens occasionally, if you are sure to keep him on schedule this doesn't happen. Howling/whining when anxious or annoyed. This doesn't happen much just maybe for a couple of minutes when you kennel him or if you won't share a very delicious snack (less frequent). Leash pulling; he CAN walk in a heel now and has good recall. Transparency is of utmost importance for rehoming Cal. We were not prepared for the behavioral issues (listed above) and we're not able to provide a lifestyle he needs. This includes constant (or near constant) companionship. Our goal is to make sure this next home is fully prepared & equipped to give him what he needs. For this reason, his rehoming fee is low and includes all of his things (kennel, slow feeder, boredom toys, a fresh bag of food).
