About River

River is positive for Canine Distemper Virus, however he isn't showing signs of illness. He is scheduled for Euthanasia on 6/1/23. He has been kept in a quarantine unit for a month and has become difficult for staff to handle when he is in the large room with 32 other positive dogs. He is a loving and affectionate when given private time with the staff in a private room. He is distraught and vocal in the kennel setting and has broken out of his pen.
