About BELLA

***NEEDS FOSTER or FUREVER HOME*** Currently in Boise, ID boarding kennels Meet sweet, smart, loving 3-year-old, 80-pound BELLA. Foster families have shared that BELLA was 'amazing'. She settled into the new home quickly and was well-mannered in the home. She loved belly rubs. We are preferably looking for a dog-free home for BELLA. Because she does not like being alone, a small submissive dog might make a good companion. She is unknown with cats. BELLA should be good with kids and really just wants to be loved by someone at all times. BELLA knows how to use a pet door and is great on recall. She is not a barker From her last home: 'Bella sits and waits for her food to be put down and you say OK before she eats. She likes to nap with one of her stuffies (toys) and does not destroy them they seem to calm her down. She is not destructive if you are with her, we have never left her alone. She likes to be by a window to look outside enjoys that very much. She does not mind being on a long chain/leash (ours is 60ft) and staying outside....she loves the outside. We only chained her in the winter when the snow was over 5 ft deep. Bella walks well on a leash and likes riding in the car where she can look out a window. She is very well-behaved at the dog groomers and the Vets office. She sleeps soundly you cannot get her to move. She likes her bed as well as the floor.' BELLA has a very strong, stubborn personality and will do things only on her terms. She is not afraid and she is not a bully. She is just not a fan of responding to commands. A trainer intervention may help with all this. BELLA is vaccinated, spayed and microchipped for her furever family. BELLA comes with all her vet records. She is on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. As one of the resident dogs aged, BELLA began showing dominance and reacted badly towards the older dog. We are now looking for a home with no other dogs and people home alot.
