About Betty

Hello from one of the sweetest dogs you're ever gonna meet. They call me 'Betty.' I just celebrated turning 1 1/2 years old! My foster parents got me some special treats. I weigh about 60 lbs, and I'm potty trained. I love to take walks every morning for about 1 1/2 miles. I take walks on the days that I do not go to doggie daycare where I get to play with many other dogs. I love other dogs! My play style is a bit strong for some of my doggy friends, but I listen to their corrections very well, so we end up having great fun. At first I would get so excited when meeting people that I would jump on them. Now I've learned to keep my bum firmly planted on the ground in a solid 'sit' and wait for treats and affection. I really like my people, and I want to please them. I'm very smart so it doesn't take me long to learn new things. For example, I am working on crate training now and already see it as my safe place. Another thing I love is stuffy toys, especially if they squeak. I like to toss the toys up in the air and catch them! It's so much fun! After all this fun of course I need to rest and I absolutely love to cuddle. I rest my big head in your lap and just enjoy being with you!
