About Penda

My name is Penda, which is Swahili for Love. I'm a petite Bull Terrier weighing in at 35 pounds. I absolutely love people. In fact, kids are my favorite humans. I'm so happy being around them. I've hung out with chickens and think they're fun to chase around. I like cats, but haven't spent much time with them. I don't like other dogs, so I'm looking for a home where I'm the one and only dog. I enjoy walks and rolling in the grass. I don't play fetch, but will snuggle with you as much as you let me. Like most Bull Terriers I do have allergies. I'm on a raw food diet, since I'm allergic to grains, poultry, and eggs. Kibble makes my skin irritated and itchy. Bleh. I do take a small dose of Apoquel everyday and that helps with my allergies, too. I don't know my exact birthday, but am about 5 years old. I'm looking for a person or family that wants to grow old with me. I like to do zoomies once in a while, you know where I run around in circles, but for the most part and pretty chill. In fact, I like to stick my head in plants and meditate for a bit and just relax. If you're looking for a fun dog to chill and snuggle with, to go on evening or morning walks with, to hang out with the family, to zen-out in some greenery, and to indulge in a spoonful of peanut butter, then I'm your girl!
