About Bruce

Bruce is the affectionate companion you have been waiting for. Pictures do not do him justice! He is a gentle soul that loves people and animals alike! This handsome 6 yr. old English Chocolate boy is the typical playful, friendly, fun-loving Labrador. He is a dog and cat-friendly, gentle, and accepts redirecting well. He has no aggressive or destructive chewing behaviors. He LOVES food and treats and has no issues around it. He can leash walk, use a doggie door, is quiet in the car, and travels fine. Bruce is content to mirror your activity level yet enjoys daily walks. A true outdoorsman, he LOVES a good game of fetch and will retrieve as long as you are willing to throw the ball for him. We believe he may have been an outdoor dog in the past but is learning and adjusting to having indoor manners and learning crate training. He enjoys being inside where his people live. He does exhibit some crate anxiety with daytime separation from his people to go to work, so would do well with a stay-at-home or work-from-home family member. He calmly will crate at night when in a room with his people. Of course, we know he would love to curl up next to you too. Bruce is a wonderful fella and ready to be your new best friend! Bruce has been fully medically vetted; neutered, up-to-date (rabies, bordetella, booster, and 1st Influenza vaccine), heartworm tested negative, and placed on prevention plus microchipped.
