About Sullivan (Sully)

As much as I am in love my Sully boy, I had to make an extremely difficult decision that he is not a city dog. His animal and leash aggression would make life in a high rise downtown Chicago very stressful for him and he needs a yard to run around in, one I wont have where I'm going. Even with parks close by that require leashes, from experience I know most owners keep dogs off leash and they don't have the best recall and I don't want any animal getting hurt, especially Sully. I have tried a few avenues and none have panned out currently and I leave so soon that I want to extend my reach to my friends in case they have any leads for a home or resource to help find him one. He really is the sweetest thing and I just want to find a home for him that will love him as much as I have. I am a cattle dog mix and full of fun but also really chill and independent when I need to be. I am chipped, up to date on all of my shots, and a healthy dog (though I can maybe stand to lose the last couple lbs). I am better as a solo pet in the house as I have only had a few friends in my time, but I love every human I come across. My mom rescued me at 2 and a half years old about six years ago and as much as she wants to bring me with her, I think I need to have more space and freedom. I promise to sit by your side and lay on your lap and give you all the kisses whenever you will let me. I rarely bark and am a very easy walker as I don't pull.
