About Liebe (Lee-ba)

We are heart broken to have to rehome our Liebe. Liebe (Lee-ba) is a very smart, very loving, loyal, house trained and kennel trained, 4 year old (5/4/19 been with us since 6 weeks old), neutered male American Pitbull. Liebe loves attention, loves interacting with people and will stick by your side. He understands and follows come, sit, stay, leave it, get it and off; lay down is still 50/50, leash training still needs work (our fault we have not worked on that as much). He also understands 'kennel' and he'll walk into his kennel peacefully. He learns new commands very quickly and he understands boundaries in the house, like rooms he's allowed in vs not. Unfortunately, my spouse's emotional support dog gets growling, neither submit to the other causing the occasional tussle. To avoid injuries to the dogs and/or person trying to break up their disagreement we have to rehome our beloved Liebe. We believe he would be best suited in a single dog home or with small female dogs. He does get along very well with our 14 year old female beagle and our 4 year old Bassett hound. We would like to find him a loving and caring home who is familiar with the breed, their temperament and understands the transition time it may take him going from everything he's evern known to a new home. He is up to date on his shots, comes with his collar, kennel, blanket, pillow, food dish and sweater.
