About Penny

This classically colored blue girl is Penny. She is a 3 year old ACD/Aussie mix who weighs about 47 pounds. She has a docked tail. Click on the red YouTube button to see how cute she is. Penny knows her basics: place, sit, down, and go to your bed.��%BD%A0She is both house and crate trained. Penny is in need of a new home because she isn't enjoying living with a baby. She did nip at the baby once, but did not break skin. Babies make Penny (and me) nervous. With adults, Penny is very loyal. She is tentative with new people but does warm up, while remaining loyal to her specific people. If you want to be the center of the universe, this girl will make her people feel that way. Penny lives with another dog. She prefers polite dogs who are relaxed with her. She isn't into dogs who want to play, so she isn't a dog park kind of girl. On walks, she is chill and ignores other dogs unless they bark right at her��%BD'��%BD|to which she will reply with a bark. Penny is a ton of fun. She loves fetch and will do it to the point of exhaustion. She loves to go for walks and sometimes needs to be reminded not to pull on the leash. She is also great in the car, so will make a great travel and adventure pal. She has already shown an aptitude for being a great dog for long hikes and even running next to a bike. Penny's ideal home is with 1-3 people who like to go do things with her. She isn't I to just homes with more people coming and going. Penny will reward her people by being a shadow. She also appreciates lots of belly rubs. Penny is spayed. She does need updates to her vaccinations. She is located in San Clemente, CA. A home visit and vet reference are required. We do not ship dogs, so adopters must be able to meet and adopt here.
