About Doug

Well, it isn't hard to figure out when you spend some time with him. This lovable mature fella is about 60 lbs and ~9 years old. Doug is gentle, sweet, and playfully bounds like a puppy. Check out his video to on PetFinder to see what we mean. He is polite meeting new dogs and has made some doggy friends here at the shelter. Not every dog likes him, but those that do have enjoyed walking through our trails, sniffing together! We'd like to do a meet n' greet with potential canine roommates. Doug had poor dental health and he had some teeth pulled here at the shelter. He is temporarily on soft food. Doug is a mature gentleman, but still has lots of pep in his step. He loves toys and will happily trot around with his stuffed animals the entire way of his walks! ***Adoption fees for dogs 7 and older are reduced by 50%!***Doug will do best where he is the only dog. He likes 'just me and you' home. I'm fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on parasite preventatives. My adoption fee has been sponsored, there is no fee to take me home!
