About Lacy

URGENT FOSTER/ADOPTER NEEDED! Video included. Lacy, a Tijuana street survivor, needs a new home. Her current owner has made the painstaking decision to rehome her. Her owner is a senior and says that it is very difficult for her to walk Lacy twice a day, which is necessary because she lives in a condo with no yard. Lacy is a Lab/Pit Bull mix and about 7-8 years old. She is very healthy, overly friendly, happy, and still has the energy of a young dog. Lacy is extremely affectionate and loving. I was able to look in her mouth, touch her paws, and rub her all over with no issues. She is goofy, loves and takes treats nicely (she can even catch them), loves to play with her toys and will play fetch, sit on command, and has the best zoomies. She will keep you laughing. She is completely potty trained. No accidents here. She is a very good girl. Lacy is a little shy around men but will warm up quickly. She's good with kids and great with women. She didn't know us and she gave us all kinds of love. Lacy is weary and cautious of people walking the streets with walking sticks which probably says a little about her past on the streets. She likes to chase squirrels and lizards. She is afraid of loud noises like fireworks. She would do great in a household with no cats or small animals only because she has never been formally tested around them. Lacy definitely needs a yard so that she can explore, run around and be a dog. She is current on her vaccines and is microchipped. The vet has given her a clean bill of health.
