About Blue

Blue is a male 5 year old American Pitt Bull Terrier. I've had him since he was 6 weeks old. I've recently moved here from Michigan for work and I no longer have the family support or assistance to assist with him. He is crated 9 hours a day which is so unfair to him. He likes to play catch, tug-of war with toys.He loves stuffed animals and he loves to carry his blanket around, He is potty trained, listens to command and is very well trained/behaved. No prior injures. His overall health is excellent. He is not fixed. No medical concerns. He's current on all vaccines, tags and licenses. He does not like his nails trimmed so he's usually restrained or giving a calming medication before his appointment. Regular vet/grooming appointments he's fine. He has never bitten anyone and he gets along well with others of all ages. He does good with other non aggressive dogs but does not have a liking for cats. He gets excited when we have visitors but when he's acknowledged he calms/lays down and goes to himself. He does not like to be left alone. He is crate trained. Although he is house broken when left alone and not crated he will potty in the house and chew on things. When someone is home he's perfectly fine .He usually eats table food but will take Iams with a little gravy added. I'm also, having a very hard time finding housing due to his breed. I've been residing in Air BNB's since I relocated here and I have depleted my savings. I will soon be homeless myself if I don't find Blue a nice home. Thanking you in advance for your assistance.
