About Luna

Experienced dog owners: We need to rehome our dog, Luna. We are moving into a different living situation and can not take Luna with us. Luna lives in Kansas City and is a 3-4-year-old pitbull husky mix. Luna is a sweet and smart girl that needs someone who can provide consistency, training, and structure to help her deal with her anxiety/ reactivity issues. Luna is dog selective/reactive and likes to be the only dog at the house but is able to make friends with dogs she likes as long as those dogs don't want to come to her home. Luna also wants to chase things with wheels and guards her home. Luna loves pets, belly rubs, and playing with toys, but her favorite thing is going on her daily walks/hikes. Luna would do best in an active home without small children or other pets. Luna is current on all vaccinations, has a microchip, and comes with her kennel, beds, and toys. We are asking for a $50 rehoming fee since she will arrive fully equipped. Luna received e-collar training from Joint Forces K9 Group. Her commands are sit, down, heel, place, and here. She has worked on building confidence and being reactive to dogs. She also worked around ATVS, cars, and bikes to help with her wheel chasing. She is now much easier to handle and does very well on her walks.
